Blessings in Disguise
Smaller than the eye can view
Covid came and changed normal into new.
It keeps me imprisoned
It makes me bored all day
But I keep telling myself that
These dark clouds will fade away
This worldwide pandemic
may have various downsides however,
it has countless blessings
blessings in disguise
People are losing their jobs
And their income which helps them to feed
These are challenging times,
But remember, clinging to rope of Allah, is the best deed
Many people’s hearts repeated the word dying,
Because they feared losing their lives.
There were also people panic buying
They thought it would help them survive
Fear infiltrated our hearts
Because we put least trust in our Lord
Even though the martyr’s Jannah,
Has been promised as the highest reward
We see the virus as a bad omen
An enemy who hates us all
But don’t we get the reason
why we stumbled across this downfall
This worldwide pandemic
may have various downsides
however, it has countless blessings
blessings in disguise
The children all wish that they could be like birds,
And to be free in the clear, cloudless sky
not in a dull cage which steals their dreams
but above the trees, way up high
therefore the best advice is
in Allah we should put full trust
and out of these tiresome cages
The Almighty will open a door for us
We also have a choice
Allah gave us an option
we could accept this as a benefit
or throw it away like an affliction
Allah says that if he gives someone a test
It means that He loves them ultimately
We should always give consent
Even if it happens repeatedly
This worldwide pandemic
may have various downsides
however, it has countless blessings
blessings in disguise
This contagious infection
Has been blessed with two types of rewards
the first one is Martyrdom
where Jannatul Firdous will be granted by our Lord
In there they will be treated
better than queens and kings
Every day they’ll gifted
with rubies and rings.
The second type is for having
SABRUN JAMEEL (beautiful patience)
We should all have perseverance
and become a huge influence
we should not moan,
whine or complain
if we survive this test
our rewards will be the same.
We have learnt how to be grateful servants
and how to spend more time to reflect
let us stick to our Aalam-e-Arwah covenant
that our worldly affairs should not make us to forget.
This worldwide pandemic
may have various downsides
however, it has countless blessings
blessings in disguise.
